Integrations Engineer - Enterprise Tools
We’re in an unbelievably exciting area of tech and are fundamentally reshaping the data storage industry. Here, you lead with innovative thinking, grow along with us, and join the smartest team in the industry.
This type of work—work that changes the world—is what the tech industry was founded on. So, if you're ready to seize the endless opportunities and leave your mark, come join us.
THE ROLE
Pure Storage is a leader in modern data storage, providing enterprise data cloud solutions that power mission‑critical workloads globally. As part of the Digital Transformation organization focused on the G&A domain, you will use your software engineering and integration expertise to design, build, and operate production‑grade integration and automation solutions on top of large‑scale enterprise platforms.
You will work closely with engineers, internal services technology teams, and business stakeholders to identify high‑impact opportunities and deliver robust, secure, and maintainable integration capabilities. This is a high‑visibility role that will shape the future employee experience at Pure.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Design, build, and maintain Workday integrations using Workday Studio, Cloud Connect (CCW/CCB), EIBs, and RaaS.
- Design, build, and maintain integrations across HR, Legal, and other internal service platforms (including Workday, ServiceNow, ERPs, payroll/benefits vendors, finance systems, identity management, and case management tools) leveraging REST/SOAP APIs, OAuth, and JSON.
- Own the integration lifecycle end to end: gather and refine requirements, design technical solutions, develop and deploy integrations, configure appropriate Workday security, and provide ongoing support for inbound and outbound integrations.
- Ensure integration reliability, performance, and data quality by proactively monitoring jobs, troubleshooting failures, resolving data discrepancies, and optimizing integration patterns, reports, and complex calculated fields.
- Maintain strong controls and documentation by creating clear technical specifications, process flows, test scripts, and runbooks, and by supporting SOX, audit, and GDPR‑related evidence requests.
- Partner with cross‑functional stakeholders and stay current on platform capabilities to identify integration‑driven process improvements and to effectively leverage new Workday and other platform features.
We are primarily an in-office environment and therefore, you will be expected to work from the Bangalore office in compliance with Pure’s policies, unless you are on PTO, or work travel, or other approved leave.
WHAT YOU BRING
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5+ years of hands‑on experience designing, building, and supporting integrations for SaaS or other enterprise platforms (functional and/or technical).
- Experience working in and driving an agile delivery process to manage work, iterate quickly, and deliver measurable customer outcomes.
- Technical acumen in SQL, JSON, and secure server‑to‑server API integrations (REST/SOAP, OAuth); scripting or coding experience strongly preferred.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Java, Go) to automate integration workflows, tooling, and quality checks; solid understanding of core software engineering concepts.
- Hands‑on experience with enterprise platforms such as Workday, ServiceNow, Snowflake, Boomi, Salesforce, or similar (Workday experience strongly preferred).
- Demonstrated experience developing robust integrations and APIs that extend platform capabilities and enable end‑to‑end automation across systems.
- Strong analytical, communication, and collaboration skills, with a proactive, ownership‑driven approach to problem solving and production support.
