YOUR MISSION

We’re looking for a Health and Safety Intern who wants to join our People's team in our office in Barcelona, Spain. If you are someone who loves working in a fast-paced startup environment, a true perfectionist, an organization freak and are passionate about Health and Safety processes, Glovo is your place!

THE JOURNEY

  • Ensure execution of Health and Safety administrative tasks according to the Spanish law.
  • Inspect jobs and workplaces and support H&S Technicians during risk assessments development. 
  • Design work instructions and revise them periodically.
  • Support during investigation of occupational accidents and diseases.
  • Support on trainings and promoting best practices to employees at all levels in all topics related to Health and Safety (in English).
  • Health surveillance support. 
  • Follow up on the activities to be carried out by the external H&S provider (risk assessments, medical checks, etc.).
  • Collaborate with other Team members to ensure the compliance with H&S requirements in other countries or working centers.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE RIDE

  • Working towards getting a Spanish degree in Occupational Health and Safety.
  • Available for a 6 month internship, working 40h/week. 
  • Tech savvy, ability to learn to use new tools
  • Past experience in H&S is a plus. 
  • Organized, proactive and creative.
  • Hands-on profile/mindset.
  • Customer service oriented.
  • Great communication skills.
  • Microsoft Office / Google Sheets knowledge. 
  • English and Spanish fluent (written and spoken).
