Internal Communication Manager
We are seeking a talented and proactive Internal Communication Manager to join our team. This role is critical in fostering a cohesive company culture, ensuring effective communication across departments, and aligning employees with organizational goals. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with exceptional communication skills and a passion for driving employee engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and Execute Internal Communication Strategies:
- Design and implement comprehensive internal communication plans to support organizational objectives.
- Establish consistent messaging that aligns with the company’s mission, vision, and values.
- Effectively translates complex business concepts into clear, engaging, and actionable communication for diverse internal audiences.
- Anticipates the impact of business decisions and aligns messaging to support organizational priorities and drive employee engagement.
- Uses storytelling to convey business concepts or ideas effectively.
Enhance Employee Engagement:
- Create campaigns and initiatives to boost employee morale and engagement.
- Plan and manage internal events, such as All Hand meetings, leadership briefings, and team-building activities.
Content Creation and Management:
- Produce high-quality content for internal channels, including newsletters, knowledge base updates, and videos.
- Maintain and optimize the internal knowledge base platform
Collaborate Across Departments:
- Act as a liaison between leadership and employees, ensuring transparent and timely communication.
- Partner with the people team, Marketing, and other teams to disseminate critical information and initiatives.
- Establish and conduct trainings on internal communication
Monitor and Evaluate Communication Effectiveness:
- Collect feedback from employees through surveys and other tools to gauge the effectiveness of communication strategies.
- Continuously refine approaches based on data and employee input.
Crisis and Change Communication:
- Develop and manage internal crises and change communication plans to address urgent and sensitive situations effectively.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field.
- min 5+ years of experience in internal communications, corporate communications, or a similar role.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational and project management abilities.
- Familiarity with internal communication tools and platforms (e.g. Slack, e-mail).
- Creative thinker with the ability to develop innovative communication campaigns.
- Ability to work collaboratively across teams and manage multiple priorities.
- Experience in change management and crisis communication
- Business acumen and understanding
- A plus is basic experience in photo and video editing
