From day one you will be responsible for assessing, recommending and developing new ingredients with impact across all international markets, including sensory evaluation. You will partner with Procurement and local Ingredient teams to propose the best international ingredient solutions, for a range of initiatives around innovation, quality improvement and/or ingredient portfolio optimization. The role will oversee different aspects of ingredient development at HelloFresh, with focus on multimarket ingredients, i.e., ingredients used across markets for a variety of initiatives, including innovation, quality improvement and/or portfolio optimisation

• Create strategies for new launches and/or ingredient quality improvements, leading new ingredient development in different categories
• Drive portfolio optimisation to improve variety and drive efficiency 
• Drive quality improvement through new ingredients and portfolio optimisation in close contact with Procurement and Quality Assurance teams
• Support international tenders with your ingredient development and sensory expertise 
• Propose ingredient harmonization initiatives with the goal of increasing quality and value perception by our customers
• Lead qualitative and quantitative sensory studies and present findings with clear recommendations 
• Drive continuous improvement to drive efficiency in existing processes

• Bachelor in Food science/Product Development or Sensory Research/Project management and other related fields preferred
• Strong/proven experience in project management or management consulting preferably within Food/ FMCG industries
• Strong analytical, prioritizing, interpersonal, problem-solving, project management & planning skills
• An organized and clear communicator with experience in managing multiple stakeholders and priorities simultaneously
• At home in a fast-paced and data-driven environment
• A proven innovator with a track record of turning ideas into reality and hungry for further impact
• A track record of driving change in a complex organizational environment
• Passionate about food or relevant experience in quality assurance of ingredients / raw materials and excited by the HelloFresh product
