Teads is currently seeking an IT Manager for the APAC region to be based in Singapore. This role is pivotal in expanding our internal IT presence and positively impacting the entire APAC region.

Our IT team is dedicated to providing top-notch support to all employees (Teadsters) globally. We equip Teads with the technical resources necessary for thriving and growing. From first-level support to managing and standardising major information systems, our team is integral to the organisation, collaborating closely with all departments. As a core part of our Engineering group, the IT team is poised to support the global growth of our company.

In this role, you must demonstrate a high level of professionalism and autonomy while delivering exceptional customer service. You will need to exercise sound judgment to resolve complex technical issues promptly. Strong troubleshooting skills and familiarity with common operating systems and applications are essential.

What can you expect in this role:

  • Work with a dedicated team handling a crucial aspect of our company, facing attractive challenges to prepare for our next growth phase
  • Play a vital role in building and growing a key business area (APAC) by supporting our local users during this period of full expansion
  • Utilise industry-proven principles to optimize processes, manage helpdesk operations, and oversee system management
  • Engage closely with all departments to facilitate company growth and support the development of our business
  • Scale the region and enhance our local IT presence, ensuring robust support for our growing operations

You will report to the Global IT Manager and will be charged to:

  • Provide day to day technical support to Teadsters
  • Document, track, and monitor users’ problems to ensure swift resolution through common user request management systems (Ticketing, Slack, etc.)
  • Work with the team to create process, documentation, and aim for global standardization to help streamline and speed up support
  • Drive global projects and ensure their timely delivery
  • Support compliance efforts through proper tracking of assets and operations
  • Contribute to the operation of IT services with a strong level of stability and availability (Google Worskpace, Zoom, O365, Slack, etc.)
  • Work with the team to streamline vendors and tools and maintain good relations with them
  • Travel to other Teads locations (up to 10% of the time, mainly in APAC), occasionally at short notice
  • Enforce collaboration and shared practices with the rest of the IT team
  • Act to extend the level of support provided to Teads office in your area of responsibility

About you

  • Proven experience in equivalent role acquired in a fast-paced and international environment
  • Pride in ownership, initiative, leadership, and collaboration
  • Effective communicator and great team player
  • Passion to deliver a world-class customer service experience
  • Experience with user support process (ticketing), MDM (Jamf, Intune, etc), Identity Provider Management (Okta), etc.
  • Experience in a hybrid environment (Apple and Windows)
  • Extended experience in supporting Mac devices
  • Experience in productivity suites (G-Suite, O365), videoconference (Teams, Zoom, etc.), issue tracking management, etc.
  • Advanced knowledge of audiovisual support (for Business Events, Offsites, Live Streaming, etc.)
  • Strong experience of corporate networking and security practices
  • Fluency in English
  • You put yourself in your user’s shoes and understand her/his need

Brownie points:

  • Past experience of working in/with remote teams
  • Second language beyond English would be appreciated
