Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Junior Analyst to support the SPAR Analytics Team.  This hybrid role combines project management support, internal communications, and intranet content management, playing a critical role in ensuring smooth operations across strategic initiatives.

Reporting directly to the Head of Operations, the Junior Analyst will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including technology, investment operations, and analytics. The ideal candidate is a proactive self-starter with strong communication skills, a keen interest in financial services, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Project Coordination & Operational Support
    • Assist the Head of Operations in coordinating internal projects across the Analytics Group, including scheduling, documentation, and progress tracking.
    • Monitor project timelines and deliverables using tools such as JIRA and Microsoft Excel.
    • Update Power Point decks and assist with metrics reporting and dashboards, including KPI reporting.
  • Internal Intranet Content Management
    • Maintain and update the Analytics Group's intranet pages in SharePoint.
    • Post internal updates, policies, and reporting dashboards to ensure information is current and accessible.
    • Partner with team leads to gather and publish news, announcements, and training materials.
  • Communication & Reporting
    • Support the development of internal communications, including newsletters, project updates, and executive summaries.
    • Compile data from various internal systems for reporting and dashboard creation.

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Economics, Communications, or related field.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Other Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Exposure to asset management, investment operations, or analytics teams.
  • Experience with project management tools
  • Basic understanding of business analytics and reporting concepts.

Salary: $25 / hour
