Payoneer's KYC Department oversees and operates Payoneer’s end-user onboarding process. KYC combines service-orientation with enforcement of industry Compliance standards, aiming to ensure smooth customer experience while keeping Payoneer compliant with KYC/AML regulations.
This role will be based in our New York, NY office.
What you’ll do:
- Review new customers information and documents, using a combination of internal and external policies and tools
- Review of various service requests (withdrawal, opt-in card, additional payment methods), to reinforce KYC protocols
- Making the decision to approve/decline/provide additional info/docs that will help reconsider the application
- Collaborate with various business departments and operational departments including Customer Care, Payments Review, Risk, and Compliance
What we’re looking for:
- Associate or Bachelors Degree
- 1-3 years of KYC and Customer Service experience
- Experience in the world of online payments preferred
- A proven self-starter
- Demonstrated ability to apply critical thinking and investigative skills
- Proven multi-tasker, with excellent attention to detail and ability to work both as part of a team, as well as independently
- Ability to make timely decisions, at times despite ambiguous processes or guidelines

In accordance with New York City Law, below is the annual base salary range for this position. Actual annual base salary is based on, but not limited to: experience, education, professional licenses, location and business needs. The position is eligible for health insurance, disability insurance, life insurance, 401k plan, paid-time off, and sick (and where applicable safe) leave. This position is also eligible for a discretionary year-end bonus.
The annual base salary range for this position is: $55,000 - $65,000.
