About the role

As a Lead Front-End Architect at Syncron, you will play a strategic technical leadership role, focusing on the front-end architecture domain. You will serve as the lead architect for front-end technologies, owning the technical vision, strategy, and principles for this domain. You will provide guidance, status, and leadership within the scope of front-end architecture and contribute to the larger context of Syncron’s SaaS architecture. This role requires deep technical expertise in front-end development, strategic thinking, strong communication skills, and the ability to handle complex technical escalations.

What would you do?
  • Lead architect within the front-end architecture domain, ensuring robust, scalable, and high-performance front-end solutions.
  • Define and implement front-end architecture strategy, focusing on modern web technologies and frameworks.
  • Lead the development of standards, principles, and practical designs for front-end architecture.
  • Analyze the pros and cons of frameworks, third-party vendor solutions, etc., related to front-end technologies.
  • Communicate complex technical issues to a non-technical audience.
  • Conduct internal training on front-end technologies and best practices when necessary.
  • Collaborate with platform product managers and liaise with a Syncron solution area to ensure cohesive development strategies.
  • Assist with architecture governance and define appropriate design review processes for front-end projects.
  • Document conceptual front-end architectures (architecture blueprints, design patterns, and best practices).
What we expect:
  • 10+ years of experience in front-end development and at least 5 years of practical experience of modern architectures such as Single Page Applications, Micro Front-Ends and BFFs.
  • Expertise in modern web front-end frameworks and technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, SASS, Angular, React and of course JavaScript.
  • Expertise in mobile UI technologies both iOS and Android (Swift, Kotlin).
  • Deep understanding of front-end build tools and continuous integration pipelines.
  • Experience with performance optimization, accessibility and responsive design best practices. 
  • Proven experience in designing and implementing front-end architecture, with a strong capability in systems thinking for front-end solutions.
  • Ability to develop standards, principles, and practical designs within the front-end domain.
  • Experience with architecture governance and defining design review processes for front-end projects.
