YOUR MISSION

You will work closely with Regional Management and other senior stakeholders to identify opportunities for improvement and growth, help in designing the strategy of the region,  and develop actionable plans to capitalize on these opportunities. You will play a key role in our PLECA region, working on critical strategic projects across the countries. Expect the work to be challenging, varied, and analytical.

THE JOURNEY

  • Lead key strategic projects autonomously, supporting senior stakeholders across the region to crack a number of diverse and highly demanding problems.
  • Be considered as top-notch support for general managers and regional general managers in developing strategy and analysis or giving support in high-impact projects or gaps to be filled.
  • Support the monthly Best estimates process and take a lead role in the design and implementation of the yearly BP of the countries.
  • Identify challenges, create action plans, and occasionally lead the execution of key initiatives at a local level.
  • Support the region with data collection, providing high-quality insights and comprehensive documents to support decision-making.
  • Work directly on Glovo’s strategy in PLECA, helping to define and map out a path to achieving our vision and ambition.
  • Actively collaborate with your colleagues and learn from each other in a supportive environment that allows you to grow, develop, and make a difference.
  • The position is based in Barcelona but you should be ready to travel across the region if necessary.

  • At least 4 years of experience in top-tier management consulting, investment banking, corporate strategy, and/or a fast-paced analytical role in a high-growth environment.
  • Ability to understand and frame a wide range of problems and opportunities, identifying key questions to answer, executing high-quality quantitative analysis and developing practical insights/recommendations.
  • Ability to work with a wide range of stakeholders (including senior leadership), defining value, scope & deliverables, effectively integrating their inputs, adequately managing their expectations, and building trust.
  • Ability to prioritize effectively as well as lead multiple project workstreams in parallel and independently.
  • Ability to spot opportunities to make things better and take ownership of them.
