You will be the domain expert for Banking and Insurance (FSI) withinDatabricks Nordics, working in coordination with the Industry Leadswithin Databricks. In this role, you will set the vision, buildexecutive relationships with customers and partners, and work with across-functional team across Databricks within Benelux. You must havea passion for how Data + AI will transform the FSI industry, befamiliar with the unique challenges that global FSI companies face,and be effective at articulating your vision to audiences big andsmall.As a Trusted Technology Leader for our customer in the Banking andInsurance (FSI) vertical, you provide technology guidance andorchestrate the interaction between customer and Databricks resourcesto drive new opportunities, demand generation, digital transformation,and the mapping of industry/business scenarios to Databrickssolutions. Join us in our quest to change howpeople work with data and make a better world!Reporting to the Manager, Field Engineering.The impact you will have:You will influence stakeholders at all levels through complexengagements with the wider cloud ecosystem and 3rd party applications,ensuring they are excited by the Databricks vision and solutionstrategy.Paired with the Strategic or Global Account executive, leveraging ourlarge, multi-functional team, lead internal teams to provide analysesand architect solutions for the customer. Hold accountability as astrategic link between Databricks and the customer for identifying apathway for strategic efforts and resources necessary for building atechnology strategy.Technology Sales Leadership – Lead technology thought leadership andtechnology sales activities to drive the customer’s digitaltransformation vision and roadmap with Databricks. Orchestrate theextended team, leading customer joint envisioning sessions, to bringthe best of Databricks technology to help the customer achieve theirdigital goals.Cultivate relationships - and solutions - with the partner ecosystem,including SIs, ISVs, and Data Collaboration partners.Collaborate with marketing to develop FSI content, collateral, anddemand-generation plans.Digital Transformation Strategy – Own the relationship with C-leveltechnology/innovation executives at the customer and buildrelationships with business leaders to achieve their business andtechnology outcomes. Understand the customer’s business goals,solution areas, and partner solutions to build a technology roadmap,enabling the customer’s innovation agenda through the utilisation ofour technologies.What we look for:Minimum 10 years experience working as an executive in the FSIvertical (directly in industry and / or deep experience working as avendor to the industry)Intimate knowledge of the technology landscape in the FSI industryComfortable across the entire value chain of FSI, including for:Banking: Customer Acquisition, Account Opening and Maintenance, Loanorigination and Servicing, Deposit and Withdrawal Processing, PaymentProcessing, Customer Service and Support, Risk Management andCompliance, and/orInsurance: Risk Management and Underwriting, Claims Management, Policy LifecycleManagement, Finance Operations, Customer Service, Compliance andRegulatory Management, and Digital Transformation.Experience driving change at a large FSI company, with a strongunderstanding of how large FSI firms make decisions, and an ability toinfluence that decision-making process.Prior experience in acting as the Technology Leader for the customerand "go-to" person in established, long-term relationships withtechnical and/or business decision-makers at the Chief X Officer (CxO)level at the customer.Ability to innovate technical solutions to achieve customers’ businesstransformation and achieve account growth targets, by leveragingtechnology and industry knowledge to deliver digital solutions toaccelerate the customer's digital vision.Proactively builds and maintains a strong knowledge of the Banking andInsurance (FSI) industry, associated business strategy, and keyindustry partners and solutions. Coordinate with internal/externalindustry experts to gather industry knowledge to improve outcomes forthe customer.Strong knowledge of key regulations in the Banking and Insuranceindustry, with a particular focus on European regulations.
