Lead Test Engineer
Job Description
Develop, execute, and manage system, subsystem, and component-level validation test plans to ensure products meet design and reliability requirements. Work with other teams to ensure a thorough system is completed.
Perform and manage hands-on and data-driven root cause analysis of electromechanical subsystems utilizing common problem-solving methodologies.
Manage the Design, build, and implement automated testing equipment for subsystem characterization and reliability/environmental testing
Collaborate with the design team throughout product development to perform risk assessments, manage continuous testing, and contribute to design reviews
Obtain certification for specific regions or standards of company products, including but not limited to FCC, CE, IC, RCM, CE, WEEE, RHOS, REACH and other product certifications.
Responsible for identifying and interpreting certification regulations and standards, evaluating product safety design, implementing product certification compliance or switching responsibility for certification control, and developing safety certification plans and schemes.
Responsible for communicating with certification bodies to confirm testing requirements and conducting testing based on standards.
Responsible for certifying the progress of the project, coordinating and following up on resources, etc.
Qualification for appointment
Mechanical, electronic and related majors, bachelor's degree or above, with English oral communication and reading and writing skills.
More than 3 years of experience in consumer product certification, with more than 2 years of work experience in certification bodies preferred, mastering certification testing methods in various countries, mandatory certification, review requirements, etc.
Proficient in certification skills, familiar with domestic and foreign certification agencies, certification systems, and certification processes, able to handle certification testing issues proficiently.
Strong initiative and enterprising spirit, able to withstand work pressure, with strong execution and understanding.
Familiarity with quality management and testing and measurement methods is preferred.
