HelloFresh is seeking to hire a driven, energetic, and organized Legal Assistant to join our Legal team. This is a unique opportunity to join a dynamic e-commerce company and be involved in a wide range of legal matters across different practice areas, most especially in employment and human resources. You will work closely with all members of the legal team to support the company’s commercial, corporate, employment, regulatory, marketing and strategic initiatives.  

You will…
  • Work alongside paralegals to support attorneys with day-to-day administrative processes across legal work streams. 
  • Manage and maintain Company’s contract management system, including assigning new requests.
  • Aid in organizing and updating legal department template documents.
  • Monitor legal mailboxes and ensure requests are routed to the appropriate internal team members and business partners. 
  • Draft and prepare basic legal correspondence and contracts such as NDAs, Exhibits, Talent and Influencer Agreements, etc.
  • Help to ensure contracts are sent out in a timely manner, fully executed and stored properly.
  • Assist with facilitating the intake and onboarding of new vendors. 
  • Assist in the maintenance of corporate filings, business licenses and permits.
  • Conduct legal research and help facilitate responses to internal queries. 
  • Perform other special assignments and strategic projects as needed.

At a minimum, you have...
  • A Bachelor of Art/Science degree with outstanding academic credentials from an accredited university.
  • High proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) and Google Suite (Gmail, Google Drive, Sheets, Docs, etc). 
  • Excellent writing and oral communications skills.
  • Experience using a contract management platform (preferred). 
  • 3-4 years of legal assistant experience in a law firm or in-house legal department, with a specialization in employment law and litigation (preferred).
