We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Legal Research Analyst to join our dynamic Legal team in Munich. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about legal matters, privacy legislation, and how technology can shape the legal landscape. As part of our team, you will work closely with legal professionals and other departments, playing a key role in researching, analyzing, and communicating legal developments to help drive our business forward. This is an excellent opportunity for a job starter or recent graduate with a background in legal studies, political science, or a related field, who is eager to learn and grow within a fast-paced, global environment.

Your Tasks

  • Research and Monitor Global Privacy Regulations: Track legislation, court rulings, and regulatory updates using AI for efficient legal research. Provide real-time insights and anticipate trends.
  • Curate & Share Legal Insights: Tailor updates for teams (Marketing, Product, Sales, Compliance) via tools like Confluence, Google, and Slack to enhance compliance and processes.
  • Maintain a Legal Knowledge Base: Keep a dynamic repository of global legal updates, industry trends, and regulatory actions, aligning with company planning and events.
  • Train & Empower Legal Teams: Provide ongoing training and knowledge-sharing to ensure a well-informed legal function that supports business needs.
  • Collaborate Across Departments: Bridge Legal, Marketing, Sales, and Product teams to mitigate risks, enhance compliance, and support regulatory initiatives (e.g., ESG, EU Directives).
  • Develop & Share Educational Content: Conduct training, webinars, and workshops while driving social media presence through legal insights and updates.
  • Optimize Legal Knowledge Sharing: Ensure clarity and accessibility of legal information, aligning external communication with legal trends.

You Bring

  • Degree in legal studies, political science, or a related field.
  • First professional experiences in a Legal Tech Privacy / SaaS environment.
  • Strong expertise in legal research and analysis, particularly in privacy, regulatory, and compliance domains.
  • Exceptional ability to synthesize and adapt complex legal topics for varied audiences.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience creating compelling content and conducting training in a way that is understandable and actionable
  • Proven track record of building and maintaining knowledge-sharing systems and collaborative workflows.
  • Toolset for Legal Research: Familiarity with legal research methodologies and tools including new technologies such as AI, demonstrating a solid foundation for researching and analyzing legal information with a strong structure and organized approach.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of global commercial, privacy and data security laws and regulations, especially of laws, legislations and authority decisions in the European Union.
  • Proven track record and strong public profile with an outgoing and social personality being comfortable with public speaking engagements, conferences, workshops.
