YOUR MISSION
Join our team to craft robust and scalable data products that drive our business forward. Leverage our Data Mesh strategy to deliver actionable insights, optimize operations, and foster a culture of data-driven innovation across teams.
THE JOURNEY
- Develop data pipelines and optimize data pipelines: data ingestion from transactional sources and APIs, data transformation with dbt, and workflow orchestration with Airflow
- Model and structure data: Build maintainable data models, including fact tables and slowly changing dimensions, to support analytics and reporting needs.
- Understand the operations model in Glovo to provide data and analytical advice to the different teams, connecting data to business
- Design user-friendly dashboards and LookML models to enable stakeholders to explore and analyze data effectively.
- Stay up to date with the latest data technologies, methodologies, and industry best practices. Experiment with new tools
- Continuously work on improving our data quality
WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE RIDE
- Bachelor in Computer, Data Engineering or similar
- 2+ years of experience working on data analytics or data engineering
- Demonstrated proficiency with Python, SQL (querying large volumes of data), and pipelines orchestration
- Knowledge of data modeling and schema design
- Experience with test automation (data testing, unit and system integration testing)
- Eagerness to work closely with business stakeholders and communicate complex data topics to non-technical stakeholders
- Strong analytical skills, problem-solving and critical thinking skill
- Experience with cloud technologies (GCP, AWS) and data visualization tools (e.g. Looker, Tableau, Power BI)
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Professional English
