We are seeking a highly motivated Localization Specialist with a talent for localizing content for Portuguese to improve our customer experience in Brazil through adjusting flows, campaigns, and content in all of its shapes from our Buenos Aires office. In this exciting role, you must be a fast learner who can quickly grasp the intricacies of a complex business, connect with other teams to understand and thrive in a fast-paced environment that requires you to successfully build a strategy and manage multiple projects at once. Your primary responsibility will be implementing our content strategy in Brazil through cross regional projects, finding opportunities and optimizations.
What you'll do:
- Coordinating translation projects for a wide range of different assets including emails, our web and mobile applications, website, blog, legal documents and more.
- Find opportunities within our actual flows to improve user experience a content quality
- Handling multiple projects at the same time and having ownership to deliver results and accomplish deadlines
- Align with our Content Specialist and central stakeholders the delivery, quality and goal required in each project acoording to brand guidelines, tone of voice and style
- Be the link between local stakeholders from multiple teams in the region and central functions
Who you are:
- The ideal candidate for this role should demonstrate strong organizational and problem solving abilities, be a multi-tasker and possess excellent interpersonal and time-management skills.
- BA in business administration, industrial engineer, economics, marketing, or anything else that would make us say, “hmmm that’s interesting”.
- Project management skills high level of organization and ability to hit deadlines.
- Content writing
- 4+ years experience in translation and localization roles
- A proactive doer working both with a local team and remotely with global teams, handling communication at all hours and maintaining strong relations with colleagues and customers in other locations.
- Excellent writing and verbal communication skills in Portuguese and English.
