The Analyst will leverage data and manage database tools to help inform and support our Logistics strategy. Responsibilities include facilitating weekly business reviews and building common datasets, building and monitoring key performance indicators, and drawing impactful conclusions from supply chain performance data. This includes, but is not limited to, on-time performance, customer-reported errors, and exceptions measurements. The Analyst will analyze network and carrier performance to provide the team with insight and recommendations on continued network quality improvements. You will also work directly with our logistics operations team, supporting them and providing coverage in their duties, where necessary.

  • Report to Sr Director, Logistics to enhance the customer experience from an analytics and quality and cost standpoint
  • Analyze specific data points or datasets and partner with team members to convert desired business measurements into specific metrics 
  • Conduct deep-dive root cause analysis on recurring service failures and partner with Operations to implement corrective action plans
  • Own necessary database improvements and develop weekly analysis reporting on customer-reported errors and on-time performance 
  • Maintain tools and dashboards to support Logistics processes, including measuring delivery quality, cost, and customer experience
  • Assist in pushing data normalization initiatives and quality metrics across broader Logistics stakeholders 
  • Help develop, support and integrate new data streams and projects to create full supply chain visibility 
  • Drive a customer-focused environment committed to delivering the highest quality product to our customers
  • Execute against ad-hoc reporting requests from leadership team
  • Assist operations teams with developing tools to measure performance metrics
  • Assist with Holiday Planning for a smooth transition and customer satisfaction
  • Support operations team throughout the week and provide assistance through modification of outbound logistics plan
  • Provide feedback on strategic planning and forecasting
  • Generate sound logistics initiatives and plans for improvement for various modes of transportation (FTL, LTL, last mile delivery)
  • Participate and support department in logistics initiatives
  • All other duties as assigned

Sound a-peeling? Here's what we're looking for: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, Accounting, or other relevant area of study required
  • 2 years experience delivering analytical solutions to complex problems required
  • 3+ years of experience within supply chain, transportation, or manufacturing companies
  • Proven ability to quickly adapt, problem solve and drive the right results using data
  • Quantitative and analytical experience – must have exceptional MS Excel skills
  • Ability to travel up to 10% within the United States and Canada required
  • Experience in turning analysis into action using tools such as Excel, Python, SQL, Knime or Tableau preferred
  • Proactive, ambitious, and assertive: take ownership of work and think beyond the scope of a given assignment
  • Extremely organized and have excellent follow up skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and self-motivated
  • Entrepreneurial with a strong attitude towards ownership and getting things done
