Logistics Specialist
Brief Overview of Position
Perigold, the destination for luxury home, is opening its first physical retail stores, first-of-their-kind retail destinations of 20-30K square feet, with the best products in all styles and from across our catalog including furniture, decor, housewares, and home improvement categories. Come be a part of it! We are looking for a Logistics Lead to oversee all back of house store operations, and report directly into the Store Manager. What you’ll do
- Maintain luxury experience standards by supporting an authentic, inviting guest experience that exemplifies our commitment to customer satisfaction and passion for luxury design.
- Oversee full store inventory accuracy, all inbound and outbound flows, all store replenishment, and fulfillment.
- Support the Store Manager and team with receiving and stockroom organization and supply levels to maximize inventory accuracy, inventory reconciliation and restocking efficiency, safety and productivity to support sales floor replenishment, returns and other related processes.
- Maintain and communicate comprehensive operations reporting for the store vs goals established for the business and by the store manager.
- Report on inventory position to store manager and leads on a regular basis.
- Collaborate closely with corporate PIM/SIM team to reconcile inventory and planning accuracy, and troubleshoot issues.
- Partner with Guest Experience and Sales leads to ensure alignment with greater business requirements and expectations (including soliciting feedback on back of house processes and policies, and working to improve as needed).
- Perform key holder and Manager On Duty duties.
What you’ll need
Experience & Qualifications
- 1-3 years of experience in a supply chain related role; retail back of house and/or fulfillment experience a plus.
- Customer centric mindset.
- Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, startup environment, including willingness to explore and test innovative ideas and pursue continuous improvement.
- Strong business acumen, and exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong organization, self-motivation, communication and relationship management skills.
- Flexibility availability (including mornings, nights, weekends, some holidays).
Physical Demands
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand, walk, talk and hear. The employee frequently is required to handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to sit; regularly climb or balance; and frequently stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must regularly, frequently or occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
