An Important Note about Wayfair's In-Office Policy:

All Boston-based interns, Co-ops, and corporate employees will be in-office in a hybrid capacity. Employees will work in the office on designated days, Monday - Thursday, and work remotely Friday.

Who We Are

We are the Global Integration Solutions team at Wayfair, responsible for increasing the number of suppliers using EDI/API integrations to connect with Wayfair. We are also responsible for partnering with our integration vendors to optimize and expand our offerings and make it easier to work with Wayfair. We work closely with suppliers, vendors, and internal teams to align goals and make collaborative progress to achieve our goals.

More specifically, in this role, as a manager-doer you’ll engage daily with operations, service, commercial and technology teams in a cross-functional, collaborative style to support our ever-growing supplier base (25K suppliers driving +$12BN in revenue). You will work with vendors to offer a full library of integration options for suppliers, suppliers to increase adoption of integrations, and internal teams to ensure vendors and suppliers are up-to-date on the latest Wayfair integrations offerings. 

What You’ll Do

You will be responsible for managing a team of 4+ direct reports, creating and implementing strategic campaigns and projects, and working across diverse internal and external stakeholders to get things done. As the leader of this team, you will utilize project management, communication, problem solving, stakeholder management, and analytical skills. This provides exciting opportunities to not only create impact across the business and also lead a team of independent, highly capable coworkers and set the strategic priorities for integration outreach at Wayfair. Some of your key areas of responsibility are:

  • Managing a team of 4+ direct reports
  • Set the agenda for integration outreach with supplier and vendors, & work with supplier account managers to scale our impact
  • Work with product and technical stakeholders at Wayfair to prioritize new capabilities/improvements and their adoption, and facilitate feedback from suppliers on developing capabilities
  • Work cross functionally with other teams to ensure best practices, Implement changes to internal process to improve efficiency and effectiveness
  • Scope and lead end-to-end execution of strategic projects focused on increasing EDI/API adoption, deepening vendor partnerships, and building greater transparency on integrations for internal/external stakeholders.
  • Navigate various levels and departments within Wayfair to connect with the appropriate teams to create effective process flows between internal and external stakeholders to streamline integration onboarding and new feature rollouts
  • Extract and communicate relevant insights and learnings with stakeholders to create a shared understanding around supplier concerns.
  • Act as the voice-of-the-supplier and operational agents by partnering with Product-Owner and Tech teams to insure suppliers and agents have the self-service tools to improve their ability to manage their business on the Wayfair Platform improve their ability to manage inventory
  • Manage vendor performance and maintain a high service level expectation for certified vendors featured on Wayfair’s Partner Marketplace

What You’ll Need

  • 5+ years in a corporate environment; experience with ecommerce, program management, project management, or support work is a plus
  • People management skills and the ability to coach, direct, and advise direct reports 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with external and internal stakeholders at a variety of levels, including executive communication.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to read and interpret a variety of data sets. 
  • Innovative problem-solving skills to dissect and determine root causes of problems and  influence cross functional partners to implement solutions.
  • A track record of taking on challenges and delivering despite obstacles and limited resources.
  • Ability to think strategically and tactically within a dynamic, fast-paced organization with a problem solving mindset and entrepreneurial spirit. 
  • A customer-centric approach, and the ability to build positive partnerships with internal and external groups to optimize performance.
