Manager, Pricing
This role sits within the Pricing team, partnering closely with our Deal Desk team. You will collaborate frequently with Sales, Product, Finance, Accounting, Leadership and other stakeholders to drive our pricing tactics. You will also act as the go-to person to provide pricing recommendations based on deal-level insights with the goal of evolving our long term Pricing & Packaging strategy.
Responsibilities:
- Help to build, review, monitor our 12-36 month pricing plan
- Manage Analysts on the team and scale the function based on business needs
- You present pricing recommendations to funnel through to the Pricing & Packaging Committee
- Conduct cross-functional change management and communication activities including initiation, planning, definition, design, development, testing and deployment
- Develop and drive initiatives to improve productivity, Pricing improvements, company Pricing Policies and simplifying processes throughout the Sales Operations and Sales Organization
- Monitor and report on KPIs associated with pricing changes to measure effectiveness, profitability and outcomes of pricing actions
- Keep up with competition, industry trends, economic impact, new pricing strategies, competition to evolve our pricing program
Qualifications:
- 5+ years experience in an applicable field, software (SaaS) pricing experience is preferred
- Experience with managing cross-functional change management for complex initiatives
- Proven ability to analyze a situation and come up with a creative problem-solving solution
- Proven ability to ask the right questions and use data as a foundation for providing recommendations
- Ability to thrive in a fast paced, unpredictable environment
The base pay range for this position is $120,000-$130,000/year. The base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Stock options and other incentive pay may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, depending on the position ultimately offered.
