What's the opportunity?Our Sales Development organization is the engine behind Intercom’s growth, both as a revenue driver and a talent pipeline. We identify and engage prospects across small business, mid-market, and enterprise segments, guiding them through the earliest stages of the sales journey. Beyond pipeline creation, the team also serves as a launchpad for future careers across our Go-to-Market organization.

What will I be doing?You will lead the APAC Sales Development organisation, shaping the future of prospecting at Intercom. You’ll drive revenue growth, deliver against team and organisational targets, and play a key role in defining and executing the broader APAC sales strategy.
We are looking for a leader with proven sales experience and a strong curiosity for AI technologies, someone who can thrive in a complex and rapidly evolving environment. You will be responsible for hiring, onboarding, and coaching SDRs, establishing repeatable processes that generate high-quality pipeline and revenue, and fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
Collaboration will be at the heart of your success. You will work closely with sales executives, marketing, and operations to craft and execute tailored strategies that move the business forward. By taking a data-centric approach to decision-making, you will ensure accurate forecasting, effective team management, and a healthy pipeline that empowers our sales teams to succeed.
What skills do I need?- At least 2 years of people management experience in the SaaS industry (preferred)
- Strong team management skills with a track record of building and scaling high-performing teams
- 2+ years of B2B software sales experience with a proven track record of consistently achieving quota
- Experience working with inbound and outbound teams who strategically engage with potential customers using a personalized, multi-channel approach centered on value
- Strong analytical skills to interpret metrics and uncover insights that inform strategy
- A natural mentor and coach with a focus on developing others.
- Experience managing complex internal ecosystems and building strong partnerships across teams.
