We’re hiring world-changers. Every role we’re hiring plays their own part in our mission; our role is to find those people and bring them on our Zero Carbon journey. Our marketeers cover a whole lot: strategy and insights, brand marketing, partnership and sponsorship, commercial marketing, SEO, and communications to our members. This role in a nutshell:
Working within our Accelerator Team (OVO X), you’d join a small go-to-market team with a big mission to deliver industry-defining experiences for our customers. So, if you have a passion for taking ownership, learning new skills, and are obsessed about maximising customer engagement and experience, we want to hear from you!
Your key outcomes will be:
- Driven and focused self-starter, phenomenal communicator, outstanding follow-through
- Genuine interest in the world of marketing, customer acquisition and ongoing engagement
- Experience as a copywriter - generating clear and concise content across diverse marketing materials e.g. landing pages, emails, to direct mail
- Understanding of using CRM for personalisation, targeting and A/B testing
- Experience in dissecting and communicating data insights from marketing campaigns
- Seeking learning opportunities to deepen your expertise or broaden your knowledge
- Excellent organisational skills - this role requires the ability to keep multiple plates spinning at the same time
- Outstanding ability to communicate and manage a range of partners

- Scope for impact - the work we’re doing will touch over a million households nationwide
- Drive the creation of marketing communications to OVO’s customer base, end-to-end
- Analyse email marketing campaigns for their effectiveness and drive improvements
- Work closely with multiple functions across OVO X and the wider business e.g., CRM, design, SEO, brand, legal, data and the various business units within OVO
- Significant exposure to senior management
- Participation in and input to customer journey refinement initiatives
