Wayfair is seeking an experienced, analytical Manager who can translate business problems to actionable insights and data driven solutions to influence resolution strategy. We are looking for a team leader with a creative mindset towards driving results through data with a technical aptitude, and a desire to drive scalable strategic advancements at Wayfair. Successful individuals in this role excel at both qualitative and quantitative analysis while also able to communicate upward and outward to tell a concise story. The ideal candidate must be highly adaptable, hands on, and must understand how to effectively drive results in a fast-paced and rapidly growing company.  

You will help drive the growth of Wayfair’s affiliate and media partnerships, working closely with internal stakeholders across marketing and technology, but also cultivating strong external relationships with major partners in the media landscape. This role is a good fit for someone who thrives in both left-brain and right-brain worlds. You will need to be equally comfortable conducting and reporting on data-driven analyses to inform channel growth as well as cultivating strong external relationships and conducting business development conversations. As such, it is a great opportunity to refine skills that will ultimately serve you well in the higher echelons of the marketing world.

What You'll Do

  • Relentlessly focus on Wayfair's marketing operations to help build and drive data strategy to align with business objectives, and growth projections.
  • Lead a team of Analysts and Associates
  • Conduct ad hoc analyses and build advanced reporting to generate actionable insights.
  • Build, operationalize, and iterate on key performance metrics and dashboards to communicate insights from analyses to stakeholders and leaders.
  • Build and implement 3-6 month road maps, driving results against team KPIs and OKRs
  • Build strong partnerships and collaboration with leaders and stakeholders to enable consistency in programs with peers.
  • Identify opportunities through a combination of data driven analysis and observations.
  • Contribute to the development of tools and processes that drive efficiencies for the team and simplify the day-to-day operations.

What You’ll Need

  • 5+  years of experience in reporting and analytics, people management, and leadership.
  • Advanced experience with Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets, and data visualization tools such as Google Data Studio (Looker, Tableau, or PowerBI)
  • Familiarity with SQL or GBQ is a plus.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communications skills 
  • Exceptional presentation skills to all levels of management.
  • Experience in taking a company forward in a fast-growth environment, providing insight for direction, and managing change effectively.
  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a quantitative field, preferred.

An Important Note about Wayfair's In-Office Policy:

All Boston-based interns, Co-ops, and corporate employees will be in office in a hybrid capacity. Employees will work in the office on designated days, Monday - Thursday, and work remotely Friday.
