About the Team:

This role sits in-between the Global Marketing team and the Market Operations team.

The Marketing and Communications team is responsible for the reputation, brand, and growth of all TfH products along with the TfH brand itself. Tasked with the creation and management of TfH’s marketing and communications efforts, the team oversees everything from earned media and branding to content creation. In addition, the team has been contracted by the Worldcoin Foundation to advise and lead the reputation, brand and community the Foundation is creating to grow the Worldcoin protocol.

The Market Operations team oversees the launch strategy and deployment of Worldcoin across all markets. This team deploys and manages all orbs worldwide and serves as the primary point of contact for local Operators. This team is responsible for effectively onboarding active users to Worldcoin. Overall, the Market Operations team is on the frontlines of Tools for Humanity’s ambitious mission of global, inclusive, and rapid distribution of the Worldcoin token.

About the Opportunity:

The Marketing Manager is responsible for developing and executing on-the-ground marketing campaigns to drive signups, help grow community,  increase brand awareness, and elevate the user verification experience. Worldcoin is a ground up movement, and this role works to make marketing intimate, immediate, and relevant to the people we are here to serve. Reports to RGM or Market Manager, and works closely with the global marketing team to develop and execute the longer-term Marketing and Brand Development strategy for Korea.

The ideal candidate is highly self-directed, creatively motivated, and has strong experience in marketing strategy, strategic planning, benchmarking against objectives, as well as driving executive-level communications and stakeholder management.

In this role you’ll be responsible for

  • Driving awareness and positive brand sentiment that inspires app downloads and reservation sign-ups 
  • Creating, developing, and implementing comprehensive marketing roadmap which capture locally important insights, tangible go-to-market strategies, including all relevant platforms
  • Partnering with Market Managers and cross functional stakeholders to drive the development, execution and continuous improvement of Worldcoin’s post expansion strategy
  • Connecting global & local efforts by aligning global visions with local marketing campaigns and identifying findings from regional teams to advise global strategies
  • Organizing and managing community events - shape the local voice of the project!, working closely with Community Specialists
  • Maintaining the Worldcoin creative standard and strategic integrity in every execution. 
About You:
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in marketing / creative strategy, strategic consulting, business development, corporate strategy or related fields- ideally in a fast-growing tech space or/and fashion/high-end consumer brands.
  • You’re a go-getter; someone creative and eager to innovate, to test, fail, learn and evolve.
  • You navigate through complexity to achieve results. You pull together diverse individuals with different interests to drive critical processes
  • You have a solid track record of achievement - e.g. worked in a top tier company/startup, have quickly assumed responsibilities or impacted results
  • You are fully fluent in Korean and English.
  • You show a strong understanding of local culture, communities, and the best ways to reach them.
