As our first dedicated Media Partnerships Manager, you’ll take full ownership of Mynewsdesk’s publisher relationships: negotiating licensing deals with newspapers, magazines and digital outlets, ensuring smooth content delivery to our platform, and partnering with Commercial and Finance to drive customer value and growth. This is a newly created role with plenty of autonomy – giving you the chance to define processes, shape the function and make a lasting impact.

About the Team

You’ll report directly to our Chief Product Officer and sit within the Product organisation. You’ll collaborate daily with Sales, Customer Success, and Finance to scale our media licensing capabilities.

What you'll be doing

You’ll lead the full lifecycle of media licensing – from initiating contact and negotiating terms to drafting standard or custom agreements.

You’ll manage renewals and performance: tracking expiry dates, invoice schedules and KPIs, while ensuring all agreements meet legal, financial and brand requirements.

You’ll analyze usage data to uncover upsell or cost-saving opportunities and build multi-year renewal plans.

You’ll ensure licensed content reaches our platform – working with Product on feed integrations and solving any delivery issues.

You’ll align closely with Sales and Customer Success to ensure media bundles meet customer needs, while building long-term, trust-based relationships with media contacts and representing Mynewsdesk at events and industry gatherings.

Who you are
  • Experience in media buying, licensing, partnership management or similar

  • Proven track record of negotiating contracts with publishers (print, online, broadcast)

  • Strong analytical skills: confident using data to create business value

  • Excellent communication skills in both English and Swedish

  • Detail-oriented and comfortable managing multiple contracts and deadlines simultaneously
