MERCHANDISE PLANNER (F/M/D)
Deine Aufgaben
As a Merchandise Planner, you are responsible for the strategic planning and merchandising of our D2C and B2B business. You will define the financial KPI plan that aligns with the seasonal strategy, developed in collaboration with the Buying Team. You will have full ownership for steering the business to meet the financial KPIs you set.
- Conduct thorough pre- and post-season analyses for our B2B (wholesale) and D2C (own shop and marketplace) business to identify missed opportunities and optimize planning for future seasons
- Partner with the Buying Team to develop a category strategy across commodity groups and pricing clusters
- Establish the pre-season merchandise financial plan by category, incorporating key trends, marketing campaigns, and sales drivers
- Monitor weekly assortment performance at the SKU level, working closely with Sales and Buying to maximize sales, margins, and sell-through rates
- Collaborate with Marketing and Sales to develop and execute strategic promotions
- Identify re-order opportunities, contributing to efficient in-season supply management and stock turnover
- Continuously evaluate and improve department processes, championing initiatives to support business growth
- Lead the Weekly Trading Meeting, presenting analysis, offering recommendations, and ensuring follow-through on action points
- Leverage website analytics to drive key KPIs, improve stock productivity, and boost profitability
- Work closely with the E-commerce team to actively trade the site, identifying sales opportunities and implementing strategies to maximize performance
- Stay informed of industry trends and competitor activity to maintain a competitive edge
- You hold a Bachelor’s degree in business or a comparable relevant qualification
- You have 4+ years of experience in merchandise planning, ideally within a direct-to-consumer fashion brand
- You possess in-depth product knowledge, combined with excellent analytical skills, and have a passion for working with both quantitative and qualitative data
- Your strategic thinking and innovative approach will enable you to lead and further develop merchandise planning and trading at IVY OAK
- You are quick-thinking, proactive, and able to stay organized, even in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- You are adaptable, proactive, and open to change, with a proven ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines
- You communicate effectively in English and can engage clearly with diverse stakeholders
- You are proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel
