What you will be doing:

As a Mobile Engineer at avi, you will take responsibility for our mobile apps as part of the Core Product Team. You will build business-critical mobile applications and features for digital therapy, continuous tele-monitoring, and individual health guidance. Your projects will range from mobile platform development, smart health trackers, real-time communication, and other complex user-facing features that will be seen and used by thousands of patients.

Our Software & Tool-Stack: Flutter (Dart), Django (Python), Java EE, ReactJS, Kubernetes, Kafka, PostgreSQL, Redis, OpenSearch and many more. 

What success looks like:

After 3 months: You will have immersed yourself in our company culture, understood our product and processes, and established strong relationships with your team members. You will be familiar with the architecture of our mobile applications and the tools we use. You will have started contributing to smaller tasks and features, gaining hands-on experience with our codebase.

After 6 months: You will have a deeper understanding of the healthcare market and the specific needs of our users. You will be responsible for components of our product, working on projects such as mobile platform development, smart health trackers, and real-time communication features. Your contributions will start to have a noticeable impact on the product and user experience.

After 12 months: You will have fully adapted to our dynamic environment and made significant strides in your role. You will be recognized for your ability to handle complex tasks and contribute to the overall success of our mobile applications. You will have a track record of successful project completions and improvements that align with our long-term objectives, helping to enhance treatment safety and healthcare outcomes for thousands of patients

Core skills & qualifications to help you succeed in this role are:

  • Software engineering skills, supported by high proficiency in at least one of Kotlin, Swift or Dart programming languages
  • Extensive experience in Android and/or iOS mobile development
  • Experience in testing and deploying scalable mobile application
  • Deep curiosity to learn new technologies, explore new ideas, and passion to implement them
  • Strong sense of ownership, and initiative to fix problems and optimize systems that are both inside and outside your area of responsibility
  • Willingness and optimism to try new ideas; ability to quickly adapt and learn from mistakes and from other team members
  • Strong work ethic, productivity, and commitment; desire to see projects through to timely completion
