About the Role:This role sits at the intersection of technical expertise and sales strategy, driving broader adoption of GenAI across accounts while fostering technical depth and collaboration within the organization.

Our Mission:- Drive GenAI activations and consumption in top accounts by creating demand and accelerating adoption.- Empower the field by enabling and augmenting the broader teams with expert knowledge and resources.

The Impact You Will Have:

  • Partner with account executives to develop and advance GenAI opportunities within assigned BUs and target accounts
  • Increase GenAI activations by facilitating GenAI workshops and providing advisory support to account teams
  • Identify untapped potential in accounts to accelerate GenAI adoption and pitch GenAI support to account teams, clearly articulating the impact of the GenAI PDR program and how to effectively engage
  • Conduct initial discovery calls to understand customer challenges and map them to GenAI solutions
  • Coordinate and support technical proof-of-value workshops and advisory sessions
  • Provide weekly forecasts of activation progression for target GenAI accounts

What We Look For:

  • 2+ years of sales or outbound business development experience
  • Ability to understand technical and business concepts related to GenAI, genuine enthusiasm for technology
  • Consistent track record of overachievement in prior roles
  • Curiosity and hunger to stay up-to-date on developments in the data and AI industry
  • Interest in building a long-term career in technology sales
  • High degree of ownership, grit, and accountability
  • Self-starter with strong problem-solving skills, coachability, and communication ability
  • Customer-centric mindset with experience delivering value-based messaging and pitch decks

 

Pay Range Transparency

Databricks is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The pay range(s) for this role is listed below and represents base salary range for non-commissionable roles or on-target earnings for commissionable roles.  Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to job-related skills, depth of experience, relevant certifications and training, and specific work location. Based on the factors above, Databricks utilizes the full width of the range. The total compensation package for this position may also include eligibility for annual performance bonus, equity, and the benefits listed above. Zone 2 Pay Range$87,800—$134,600 USD
