National Account Executive
As a National Account Executive, you are the analytical engine and operational heartbeat of our National Sales team. Whether you are partnering with major Corporate retailers or navigating the fast-paced Independent and P&C channels, you will play a pivotal role in driving execution across planning, analysis, and customer engagement.
Reporting to the National Sales Manager, you will work closely with the National Account Team to deliver key performance metrics and play a critical role in promotions administration, forecasting, and analytical support - all while learning from experienced leaders and building the skills for your next career step.
These roles can be based in Chippendale, Sydney or Karawatha, Brisbane.
You will…
- Accurately input, track, and review all customer promotional activity, investment, and trade spend.
- Proactively manage claims, deductions, and discrepancies in collaboration with our Commercial Finance team to keep budgets on track.
- Transform raw data into narratives. You’ll generate performance reports that provide visibility into market trends, competitor moves, and retail execution.
- Support the "big moments," including annual range reviews, category deep dives, and New Product Development (NPD) launches.
- Participate in joint business planning and category reviews to build account management capability
- If focused on Corporate accounts: you'll help ensure the voice of our customers drives how we deliver on our full-year targets and strategic priorities.
- If focused on Independents/P&C: you’ll act as the bridge between the office and the field, curating selling tools and maintaining a high-integrity customer database.
You have/are…
- Experience: 1–3 years in an analytical or sales support role (FMCG/Retail experience is a major plus).
- Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred, or equivalent professional experience.
- Data Savvy: You are a "power user" of Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, etc.) and feel at home navigating complex datasets.
- Commercially Minded: Strong commercial acumen and the ability to interpret data, forecast accurately, and support strategic decisions
- A Sharp Eye: A high level of attention to detail and accuracy, particularly when dealing with financial inputs and large datasets.
- An Organiser: Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple processes simultaneously under tight deadlines.
- A Collaborator: Clear and professional written and verbal communication for engaging with both internal stakeholders and external customer contacts.
