Occupancy Planner - Intern
Why We Have This Role
As an Occupancy Planning Intern, you will be essential to the heart of our Workplace Experience team. Your role will involve supporting various functions and projects across the business, such as process administration, and tooling support to enhance the overall employee experience. This is a pivotal role in ensuring our workforce is empowered, supported, and engaged.

- You will partner with WX managers, team members, and other key stakeholders to support programs and initiatives that enhance employee satisfaction and productivity. Your success will be evident through improved processes, metrics, office planning, and data-driven occupancy insights that inform our WX strategies. Your innovative ideas and commitment to employee well-being will make a tangible impact on our organizational culture.
- Prepare regular reporting to leadership on occupancy rates for more informed decision making on real estate space needs.
- Develop needs assessment and programming documentation standards for Business Unit and Team work style profiles.
- Partner with People Team, Business Unit and Department Leads to validate yearly headcount projections and short-term spatial requirements.
- Partner with Workplace Experience in developing office move and restack plans using space allocations and occupancy data.
- Ensure all sites are following best practices for effective occupancy planning; all workstations labeled, maintaining accurate records of occupied vs vacant seats.
- Assist with rolling out of Zoom Workstation Reservation Platform across global portfolio; ensuring all floorplans are accurate in the system, all reservable workstations are programmed correctly, all assigned workstations have the correct employee name associated with them.
- Floorplan management; ensure all sites have accurate and updated floor plans.
- Assist with test fit scenarios for space improvement projects.
- Assist with developing design standards catalog.
- Self-starter willing to navigate ambiguity and show proactivity in pursuing project objectives.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
- Previous experience in a workplace experience, occupancy planning, or office management
