Operations Director, Easylink

Role summary - Payoneer is looking for an experienced operations head for its China payment license entity specialized in cross-border payments industry. We are looking for an operations head with strong and comprehensive exposure and leadership in cross-border payments industry. The position holder will be directly reporting to the CEO of China license entity.

What you’ll do

  • Lead Business Operations in China license entity including customers KYC/onboarding, transactions processing, payments review and approval, transactions audit and daily reconciliation
  • Improve Operations efficiency and SLA by working with product teams to optimize product and business processing flow to support the company to provide customers with better CX
  • Define and build the operation solution and flow for the product and business of China license entity
  • Manage end to end KYC strategy, performance and quality for China customers onboarding
  • Establish operational framework and guidelines on managed operations related policies
  • Drives continuous improvement through training initiatives and process improvements
  • Drive operational excellence of the captioned functions, by leading and carry initiatives to optimize KPI and SLA performance
  • Oversee the procedures and process, including the writing, updating, distribution, and re-engineering of all documentation
  • Lead and ensure the successful deployment (flows and systems) of projects and implementation for the region
  • Accountable as a Line of Defense (LOD) Process Owner (PO) for managed functional areas and appropriate Risk controls, identification, mitigation and reporting metrics
  • Explore and improve the Ops platform and tools to meet the operational needs and enhance operational performance
  • Collaborate, align and synchronize across and with Greater China Ops functions
  • Growing and developing a talented Ops team, cultivate a highly inclusive, collaborative, and results-oriented culture

Who you are

  • 10+ years of payment business operations experience in China cross border payments, domestic payments and banking
  • 5+ years of leadership experience in team management
  • Bachelor’s degree or above
  • Deep understanding of Chinese payment and cross-border payment systems, regulatory compliance, AML and industry best practices
  • Experienced in leading to operate China PSP’s RMB/FX cross-border payment products and businesses
  • In-depth knowledge of China cross-border ecommerce and cross-border payments scenarios and flows
  • Strong leadership ability to lead the Ops team to work and collaborate smoothly
  • Professional level in English, both reading and writing
