We are a growing team looking for an Operations Quality Analyst Intern in the Operations Program & Innovation department to help us on our journey to revolutionize road freight logistics. The role is located in our Milan office.
WHAT YOU WILL DO …
As an Operations Quality Analyst Intern, you will play a fundamental role in ensuring service quality and enhancing operational visibility through both analytical and hands-on activities. You will be responsible for analyzing data and monitoring KPIs, while also actively engaging with carriers and partners to gather key information, resolve operational issues, and drive the achievement of targets. You will collaborate closely with internal teams and external stakeholders, contributing to process optimization and the development of new solutions for tracking and service quality.
In this role, you will …
- Assist in managing the "Service Quality and Visibility Program," working closely with internal and external stakeholders.
- Assist in the preparation of ad hoc analyses, reports, and presentations for leadership, providing insights into the effectiveness of outputs.
- Proactively interact directly with carriers and partners (mainly via phone and email) to collect key information, resolve operational inefficiencies, and ensure quality and timely service delivery.
- Assist in monitoring and enhancing GPS integration processes of carriers regularly.
- Support the execution of projects aimed at improving our services, contributing to the achievement of company goals.
- Aid in building, managing, and maintaining performance reports and dashboards related to key metrics such as GPS coverage, Perfect Service Load, and On-Time Performances.
- Collaborate with the Product Team to contribute ideas for new solutions, enhancements to existing ones, and draft business requirement documents.
- Support daily interactions with third-party service providers to enhance real-time visibility.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for Operations Teams regarding visibility and service quality matters.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR …
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, statistics, or a related field.
- Initial experience in operations management, quality management, performance management, consulting, or similar roles is highly valued.
- Preferred experience in the transportation/logistics industry or familiarity with supply chain visibility concepts.
- Highly skilled in G-suite and MS Office; SQL is a plus.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Italian and English.
- Strong hands-on approach and results orientation, with a willingness to “get your hands dirty” to achieve objectives.
- Problem-solving mindset, initiative, and ability to work both independently and within a team.
- Fast learner with a data-driven mindset.
