Team Description

You’ll join our Partnerships Team, a key growth driver within SumUp’s EU Go-To-Market organisation. The team focuses on building and scaling strategic collaborations through Integration/ISV, Referral, and Reseller partnerships. As part of the Partner Acquisition function, you’ll focus on identifying, engaging, and closing new ISV partnerships that integrate SumUp’s payments via our API and SDK solutions –enabling thousands of merchants to accept payments seamlessly.

 

What You’ll Do
  • Identify and target high-potential ISVs that would benefit from SumUp’s API/SDKs and build a robust acquisition pipeline through research, networking, and direct outreach
  • Lead end-to-end partnership discussions, understanding ISV needs, presenting SumUp’s solutions, and negotiating win-win commercial agreements
  • Facilitate smooth API/SDK integrations by collaborating with partners and internal engineering, product, and legal teams to ensure fast and high-quality onboarding
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to share market insights, represent partner needs, and contribute to the evolution of our partnership strategy
You’ll Be Great for This Role If
  • You have a strong commercial background with proven experience in partner acquisition, business development, or sales, ideally within FinTech or the POS industry
  • You have hands-on experience with ISVs and API integrations, and you’re comfortable discussing technical solutions with both business and technical stakeholders
  • You bring excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills and can manage complex sales cycles independently
  • You’re proactive, results-driven, and thrive in a fast-paced environment where persistence and ownership lead to success
