Partner Marketing Manager, Global MSSP

Reporting to the Director of Product Marketing, Observability, this role will provide strategic planning and tactical execution of content development, sales enablement and customer engagement across the IT Ops, DevOps, SRE, and Developer personas. The successful candidate will bring DevOps/SRE, Observability, Application Performance, or SaaS domain expertise, to gain credibility quickly with Sales & Customers as the Subject matter expert.

Responsibilities
  • Develop go-to-market plans through engagement with product management, engineering, sales, and other marketing teams
  • Participate in Integrated Marketing Campaigns by providing subject matter expertise, messaging, collateral, and sales-enablement and support
  • Design and develop both technical, and non-technical, sales and marketing collateral including presentations, blogs, solution briefs, technical white papers, videos, and field training courses
  • Deliver enablement to sales, sales engineering, and partners
  • Support technical customer meetings and training (as needed)
  • Develop competitive assessments, and creative collateral to position Sumo uniquely in the minds of practitioners
  • Design and develop sales and marketing collateral for Sumo Logic solutions including presentations, blogs, white papers, videos, demos etc
  • Develop partner marketing activities
  • Drive integrated communications initiatives with other businesses and teams across internal and partner ecosystem
Required Qualifications and Skills
  • Minimum 5 years experience in product management, product marketing, sales engineering, or technical marketing roles with a complex SaaS offering geared to IT Ops / DevOps.
  • In-depth industry experience and working knowledge of one or more domains of IT Operations, DevOps, and Application monitoring.
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills to evangelize how Sumo excels at offerings for the various IT Operations persona both internally and externally.
  • Technical subject matter expertise to be able to independently develop webinars, videos, technical collateral, ROI/value oriented assessments, etc.
  • Highly collaborative work style to learn from others and build upon their ideas.
  • Passion for driving product innovation and to effectively communicate cross-functionally within Product Development, Engineering, Marketing, and Sales.
  • Curiosity to learn the intricacies of Sumo Logic's business and adapt past experiences to Sumo Logic's current opportunities.
  • Technical undergraduate or graduate degree

The expected annual base salary range for this position is $126,000 - $147,300. Compensation varies based on a variety of factors which include (but aren’t limited to) role level, skills and competencies, qualifications, knowledge, location, and experience. In addition to base pay, certain roles are eligible to participate in our bonus or commission plans, as well as our benefits offerings, and equity awards. 

Must be authorized to work in the United States at time of hire and for duration of employment. At this time, we are not able to offer nonimmigrant visa sponsorship for this position.
