Doctolib is looking for its Director of Patient Content Factory, a senior leadership role responsible for shaping the future of how 90 million users across Europe access trusted, verified, and engaging health content.

Over the past decade, Doctolib has become Europe’s leading Health Companion. In the coming years, we aim to go further — transforming Doctolib into the most trusted health content destination, helping millions make informed decisions about their health through medically validated, accessible, and action-oriented content.

To make this vision a reality, we are building a Patient Content Factory: a center of excellence for patient-facing content creation, powered by evidence-based medical knowledge, human expertise assisted by next-generation AI workflows and content partnerships.

Reporting to the VP Health Companion, you will lead the creation, scale-up, and operational excellence of this new team. You’ll collaborate closely with Product, Medical Excellence, Data, and Local Marketing teams to deliver expert-led, AI-powered health content that informs, inspires, and drives measurable health outcomes.

What you'll do

As Director of Patient Content Factory, you will lead the strategy, operations, and partnerships that make Doctolib the leading platform for trusted health content in Europe.

Your responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Set the vision and strategy for Doctolib’s Patient Content Factory, aligning it with our mission to become Europe’s trusted source of verified, engaging, expert-led health content.
  • Build and lead the patient content organization, hiring, mentoring, and inspiring a high-performing team across content operations, editorial, partnerships, and localization.
  • Develop and scale AI-assisted content workflows, working hand-in-hand with Editorial, Product, Data, and Medical Excellence teams to create safe and evidence-based content production at scale.
  • Ensure quality, trust, and accessibility across all formats ( articles, videos, etc.) establishing best-in-class editorial and medical standards.
  • Lead strategic partnerships with trusted medical institutions, publishers, and health creators to amplify reach and grow content supply through curated, expert-backed collaborations.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Product, Design, and Engineering to ensure content is surfaced in the right moments within the app, supported by recommendation systems and strong UX.
  • Establish a culture of innovation and accountability, encouraging experimentation with new formats, tone, and technology to make medical content both trusted and engaging.
  • Own content performance metrics, ensuring measurable impact on engagement, retention, health actions, and business outcomes.
Who you are

Before you read on — if you don't have the exact profile described below, but you feel this job description matches your skill set, we still encourage you to apply.

You could be our next team mate if you:

  • Experience: 8-10 years in digital content strategy, content operations, or media leadership, including 5+ years managing large teams and complex ecosystems across countries.
  • Leadership: Proven success in building and scaling multidisciplinary teams in fast-paced, high-growth environments. You combine strategic vision with operational excellence.
  • AI & technology fluency: Deep understanding of how AI and data can transform content production and personalization while ensuring medical accuracy and human touch.

  • Analytical & outcome-driven mindset: You use data and experimentation to optimize performance, engagement, and ROI.
  • Cross-functional influence: Skilled at working across Product, Marketing, Medical, and Tech teams; you bring people together to deliver ambitious shared outcomes.

Now, it would be fantastic if you:
