Payments Sr. Business Analyst
You’ll join the Brazil Payments Processing team in São Paulo, the backbone of our acquiring and transaction processing at SumUp. The team ensures that merchants experience smooth, reliable payment processing across all rails — from traditional acquiring to emerging alternatives like Pix, APMs, and boletos. We work closely with providers to guarantee operational excellence and financial accuracy every day.
What You’ll Do- Monitor critical KPIs such as approval and clearing success, ensuring the operational health of payment processes.
- Manage relationships with third-party processors and providers to maintain stability and performance.
- Lead and accelerate the resolution of issues in transaction and clearing processing.
- Support merchant onboarding with our providers and enable new product features such as vouchers.
- Drive process documentation and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.
- You have strong analytical skills and can identify patterns and root causes in complex data sets.
- You’re proficient in SQL and comfortable using data analysis tools.
- You have experience collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders.
- You communicate fluently in English, both written and verbal.
- You bring a background in payments or financial operations.
- You maintain a merchant-first mindset and can balance business and technical perspectives.
- Knowledge of financial regulatory or scheme requirements.
- Familiarity with payment business models and Tableau.
