Our long-term goal is to close the loop by enabling businesses to turn transactions with customers into long-term relationships.   The People Partner Manager will be responsible for overseeing Operations, Fraud Prevention, and Engineering & Product teams, driving the growth and development of our Brazilian business. In this pivotal role, they will manage all activities, including executing and shaping local-level strategies such as Team Reviews, eNPS analysis and actions, facilitating org design sessions, and implementing Seeds & Steps improvements. Focused on supporting approximately 300 individuals, the successful candidate will play a crucial role in implementing people processes, ensuring the visibility of outcomes, and enhancing team and individual effectiveness towards achieving high performance. Additionally, they will provide coaching, development, challenges, and influence to leaders, contributing positively to team development and health.   This role will report to the Head of People Brazil and will be based in São Paulo. Due to our office-first company culture, the candidate is expected to work from the office a minimum of three days a week.   What you'll do:
  • Drive people process implementation and ensure their outcomes are visible, driving area, teams and individuals' effectiveness to high performance
  • Coach, develop, challenge and influence leaders supporting their development and having therefore a positive impact in the development and health of the team
  • Be key player for the People leadership team in Brazil
  • Foster world-class employee experience for SumUppers
  • Execute and influence people initiatives and strategy at local level i.e. Team Reviews, eNPS analysis and actions, facilitate org design sessions, Seeds & Steps definition/improvements and implementation, etc
  • Ensure consistency with local labour law and support leaders on all people-related cases
  • Design and drive team's organisation design and structure aligned with leadership
  • Take an active role in the global people partner chapter to promote healthy and aligned people practices around the globe
You'll be great for this role if have:
  • Previous experience as a People Partner
  • Knowledge of organizational design, team dynamics, and leadership development
  • Strong leadership experience
  • Ability to lead a team through building initiatives, not just executing processes
  • Leadership coaching skills
  • Fluency in English
  • Data-driven and analytical skills
  • Strong project management skills, with a focus on delivery and structure
  • Excellent stakeholder management and relationship-building abilities
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity and adapt to changing circumstances
  • Problem-solving mindset
  • Self-learner with a curious nature
  • Bias towards action and proactive in addressing challenges
  • Former experience as a People Partner supporting a tech team is a plus
