As a People Partner at Modulr, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping our people strategy and supporting our leaders to deliver on our ambitious goals. You’ll be a trusted advisor, coach, and project lead, helping to build a culture where everyone can do their best work. 

What You’ll Do 

  • Strategic Partnership: Collaborate with business leaders and line managers to develop and deliver people plans aligned with Modulr’s strategic objectives.  
  • Employee Relations: Provide expert advice and coaching on complex employee relations cases, ensuring compliance with current legislation and best practice.  
  • Manager Coaching: Provide guidance and hands-on coaching to managers, equipping them with the skills and confidence to effectively lead their teams, navigate challenges, and build a positive working environment.

  • Talent & Succession: Work with our L&D Lead to support people projects such as succession planning, talent reviews, and workforce planning, working closely with senior leaders and the Talent team.  
  • Organisational Design: Advise on organisational structure, performance review processes, and resource management to ensure consistency and effectiveness.  
  • Annual Processes: Support the People & Culture team with annual cycles (e.g., compensation review, performance management) and lead on ad hoc projects as required.  
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance our people processes, policies, and employee experience.  
  • Own and deliver key projects aligned to the People Strategy, ensuring initiatives are executed effectively and drive measurable impact across the business. 
  • Use data-driven insights to influence and guide leaders, identifying trends and opportunities to improve engagement, performance and organisational outcomes. Culture Champion: Promote Modulr’s values and inclusive culture, ensuring all colleagues feel supported and empowered. 

Who You Are 

What you’ll need: 

  • Excellent working knowledge of HR, including ER, performance management, and stakeholder management. 
  • Outstanding stakeholder management experience, with the ability to challenge senior stakeholders and act as a trusted partner. 
  • Experience in fast-paced, changing environments; able to work independently and problem-solve effectively. 
  • Superb communication, organisational, and time management skills; strong IT literacy (Microsoft Office, Excel, HR systems). 

Nice to haves: 

  • Experience in financial services or scale-up environments.  
  • International HR experience including US, EU & Indian.  
  • Flexible, can-do attitude and ability to maintain confidentiality.
