People Transformation Lead

We are looking for an experienced People Transformation Lead with a strong background in HR Transformation projects and implementations, and knowledge in Workday, ServiceNow and other essential HR systems. You will have in-depth experience of HR Processes, HR Operations, Programme Management and experience applying technology to improve employee experience. You will report to VP HR and work from our HQ office in Cannon Street, London, for 3+ days a week (hybrid).

Responsibilities:

  • Develop the People Technology strategy aligned with the Deliveroo's People and Business goals through the development of a comprehensive roadmap. Collaborate and consult with the PLT and the People Technology Lead to identify opportunities for applying technology to resolve HR efficiencies, improve processes, and enhance the employee experience.
  • Manage a team of one Transformation Business Analyst
  • Lead HR Optimisation Programmes as part of the People Operating Model project, implementing additional modules and ensuring that the systems we use meet People and business needs in close collaboration with the People Technology Lead. 
  • Responsible for People Transformation Programmes. 
  • Develop and deliver Change Management and Training programmes for the business to ensure they maximise the utilisation of Workday, ServiceNow and other systems features by challenging the status-quo.
  • Ensure that Workday configuration and processes comply with data security and privacy regulations, and internal policies.
  • Collaborate with Workday representatives and other HR technology vendors to address system issues, upgrades, and enhancements.
  • Utilise Workday's reporting and analytics capabilities to provide insights and support data-driven decision-making within the HR department and across the organisation. Main deliverables include: standardised headcount reporting for cost centre owners and implementing a self-serve functionality for managers to download reports themselves from Workday. 
  • Identify opportunities to streamline HR processes through the use of Workday and other People technologies.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree preferably in HR, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Previous team management experience
  • Experience with complex global HR Transformation projects
  • Experience navigating through complex matrix structures
  • Experience working with Workday, including implementation, configuration, and ongoing management.
  • Strong understanding of HR processes and best practices, with a focus on how technology can support and enhance these processes.
  • Experience managing HR transformation projects (with focus on optimising People Technology), including system upgrades and integrations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with HR stakeholders, ET teams, and external vendors.
  • Knowledge of data security and privacy regulations related to HR systems and employee data.
  • Ability to leverage data for decision-making and process improvement.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Workday, ServiceNow and other HR technologies and systems, such as applicant tracking systems, performance management tools, and payroll systems.
