We are heading into a period of ambitious building at Blenheim Chalcot and across our businesses, in existing and new geographies. As a result, we are looking for a world class Pioneer to join the team at Contentive.
Contentive, founded in 2012, is a global digital media company focused on disrupting the B2B media and publishing industry. They leverage cutting-edge technology to help B2B tech businesses connect with the right clients, facilitate networking through online communities, and provide valuable insights in FinTech, Accounting, Treasury, and Digital Marketing. Contentive collaborates with major tech companies like Adobe, Sage, Oracle, Workday, and Salesforce, linking potential buyers with technology firms. They employ a proprietary technology stack, integrating marketing automation and customer data platforms, to personalize audience experiences, enhance engagement, and gain deep insights into community preferences and behaviours.
The Pioneer Programme
This role is part of the BC Pioneer Programme; a portfolio-wide community and learning & development programme built exclusively for the future leaders of our ventures and scale-ups.
When embarking on a Pioneer role within our portfolio, you will be exposed to an environment unlike any other and will have the opportunity have a tangible impact on a business going through a continuously evolving period of growth. Alongside your role, you will undertake a Red Team L&D programme, giving you access to learning materials, training and experts to help you to set up your own career adventure.

THE ROLE:
Key responsibilities
Contentive is looking for a driven Pioneer to oversee the execution of B2B marketing campaigns for Contentive’s clients. This includes lead generation, display advertising and brand awareness campaigns. The role will include managing a team of 6 across the UK and India, planning and delivering on campaigns, auditing performance and driving broader initiatives within the business to improve delivery and operations.
Specific Duties
- Lead the strategic planning and execution of comprehensive marketing campaigns to achieve performance targets.
- Manage the end-to-end delivery of marketing initiatives, including display advertising, sponsored content, and thought leadership articles, ensuring alignment with clients' objectives.
- Direct a cross-functional team of marketers and creatives across the UK and India to deliver on campaign goals, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.
- Monitor key performance indicators and provide insightful analysis to stakeholders, using data-driven decision-making to optimize campaign performance.
- Establish and maintain strong client relationships, acting as the primary point of contact for campaign management and strategic consultation.
- Develop and manage project timelines, ensuring the efficient allocation of resources and the timely delivery of campaign elements.
- Champion the continuous improvement of marketing processes and practices, incorporating best practices and emerging trends in digital marketing.
- Mentor and develop team members, providing guidance and support to enhance their professional growth and ensuring high levels of team engagement and performance.
- Ensure that all marketing materials and communications uphold brand consistency and quality standards, securing approvals and coordinating with internal and external partners.
- Navigate complex client requirements and market dynamics to propose and execute flexible, innovative campaign strategies.
- Address and resolve any campaign issues that arise, implementing contingency plans as necessary to mitigate risks and ensure client satisfaction.
- Participate in cross-departmental collaboration to integrate marketing efforts with broader company initiatives and objectives.

ABOUT YOU
The Ideal Candidate
- Minimum 2 years' work experience
- Minimum 2.1 undergraduate degree (preferably in business/media/marketing)
- Extremely organised and able to project manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- A passion for technology and disruption, with experience in or ambitions to build your own venture in the future
- Emotional intelligence and be compassionate and supportive in nature
- Give evidence of the ability to be a self-starter and be able to adapt to multiple roles in a variety of high-pace environments
- A passion for building your network and capacity to work well with colleagues and stakeholders at C-suite and executive levels
- Excellent accuracy/attention to detail essential
- Commercially aware
- Results-oriented and tenacious

Duties and responsibilities:
- Be an employee of our Venture Builder Services and identify and map out key internal and external business processes, identifying problem areas and provide effective solutions
- Create and design sustainable operating models for the business and clients, deliver solutions & services working with a range of teams, including sales, marketing, content and design
- Identify, establish and build strong internal partnerships and revenue-generating external partnerships, while rolling up your sleeves and doing whatever is required to achieve the goals
- Take part in a variety of informal learning and networking events, which brings groups of people working in the same field together across our ventures, charities and other external organisations
- Additional learning and development programmes, managed and run by our edtech businesses within the portfolio for which all employees are eligible
