YOUR MISSION
Glovo is looking for a highly organized and proactive Policy Project Manager to join its global Government Relations (GR) team. Based in our Barcelona headquarters, this role will be instrumental in ensuring the smooth and efficient execution of critical policy initiatives across the company's international footprint.
Reporting to the Global Director, Policy & Public Affairs, you will be responsible for coordinating a diverse portfolio of projects, enabling the GR team to deliver impactful work that supports Glovo's strategic objectives and engagement with key stakeholders.
THE JOURNEY
- Policy Project Management & Delivery: Lead the planning, scoping, execution, and monitoring of diverse policy initiatives, including socio-economic reports, rider advocacy projects, and government engagement programs, proactively managing risks and ensuring successful delivery.
- Cross-Functional Coordination: Facilitate seamless collaboration among internal GR team members, as well as with Legal, Operations, PR, and external partners (e.g., consultants, research agencies) involved in policy-related projects.
- Stakeholder Communication & Reporting: Maintain clear and consistent communication channels with all project stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status, key milestones, and performance. Prepare comprehensive project reports and presentations.
- Documentation & Knowledge Management: Ensure all project documentation, including plans, progress reports, and outcomes, is well-organized, accurate, and accessible. Contribute to the continuous improvement of knowledge-sharing practices within the GR team.
- Internal Operations & Process Support: Identify opportunities to enhance existing project management processes and tools within the GR function to improve efficiency. Provide essential project management support for internal team management initiatives, such as executing the Team AI Strategy and the planning & control cycle.
WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE RIDE
- Approximately 3-5 years of professional experience in a project management role.
- Professional experience, preferably gained within a policy, economics, or government relations environment.
- Strong project management skills, with a proven ability to successfully plan, execute, and monitor multiple projects concurrently from initiation to completion.
- Excellent organizational skills, meticulous attention to detail, and a proactive, solutions-oriented approach to challenges.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with diverse internal and external teams.
- Proficiency in relevant project management software and tools (e.g., Asana, Jira, Monday.com).
- Fluent in English.
