Job Description

As the Pricing Strategy Analyst, you will be part of the EU Market Tribe and play a key role in driving strategic pricing decisions and aligning Pricing tactics across the teams that enhance the company's competitive position and drive growth. You will look after Card Reader hardware pricing and Fee Pricing and work on new Revenue streams such as SaaS pricing.

This role is a crucial part of SumUp. You will work closely with the European Tribe, Finance, Sales, and all other Multi-Product tribes, providing support and insights. You will report to the Pricing Strategy Lead Europe.

This is an on-site (5x in-office) role based in Berlin.

 

You Will Be Responsible For

  • Collaborate in developing a pricing strategy for all European Markets 
  • Analysing competitors' pricing and market trends, synthesising findings and insights
  • Collaborate in developing a multi-product pricing strategy, focusing on product adoption and developing other revenue streams
  • Collaborate in Fee Pricing strategy focussed on long-term retention and Revenue growth
  • Identify growth opportunities through data analysis and problem-solving  
  • Collaborate opportunities through qualitative insights in Marketing, Business Development, Sales & Partnerships
  • Work closely with Product tribes to align Pricing strategies for new products and features

You’ll be great for this role if

  • You have at least 3+ years of experience running Pricing Strategy or Revenue Management 
  • You are a strategic commercial thinker with outstanding analytical skills 
  • You can run analysis on complex data sets - background in SQL a plus
  • Structured working methods and attention to detail
  • Self-starter who has experience working in highly cross-functional teams 
  • You are an excellent communicator, guided by clarity and structure
