Okta is seeking an experienced Principal Adobe Experience Cloud Engineer with a deep understanding of Adobe’s tech stack to join our growing team.The position will play a crucial role in designing and implementing solutions that leverage Adobe technologies to meet the unique business needs of our clients.The right person will be responsible for providing technical leadership, driving innovation, and ensuring the successful delivery of complex solutions. This person requires deep analytical skills to solve complex business problems, and to provide innovative solutions that work in conjunction with all other tracks of the project stream.
As a Principal Adobe Experience Cloud Engineer, you will play a key role in the execution of our Enterprise Applications strategy that directly impacts internal business operations supporting Okta’s growing business by directing the overall development release, and maintenance of applications that enable business success. You must be collaborative and able to build trusted partnerships with extended teams. A successful candidate will have the ability to balance priorities and collaborate with cross functional teams while delivering within an agile delivery framework and supervising key performance indicators.
Responsibilities
- Ability to architect large scale technology solutions primarily using all of the Adobe Experience Cloud solutions, including Content Management, Cloud manager, Customer Data Platform, Campaign Management, and Analytics.
- Ability to quickly grasp Business initiative, understand business processes, and determine technical solution options that meet objectives.
- Plays an integral role in building a holistic view and roadmap of our technology strategy and processes for digital and marketing domain and has the ability to create best practices, methodologies, templates to guide the team
- Participate in customer and prospect meetings alongside sales
- Administer large scale, complex systems projects; Articulate design concepts, strategies and roadmaps clearly through exceptional oral and written communication skills; good presenter and great listener.
- Collaborates with Business Solutions Architects to ensure solutions design supports overall business objectives.
- Provides hands-on mentoring and coaching or architecture, solutions design, and development practices.
- Builds prototypes and/or assists software engineers with coding and troubleshooting cloud-based applications.
- Ensure customer satisfaction and build upon the deep customer relationships we currently have.
- Creates and reviews architecture, solution design, data and integration documents for delivery teams and Architecture review Board.
- Provide thought leadership and contribute specific points of view on key industry topics through various communication channels
- Possess a deep understanding and interest in emerging digital trends like CX solutions, advance personalization techniques.
- Work with Product Owners and Project Managers with roadmap and sprint planning activities.
- Cultivate highly effective relationships with internal business partners.
Qualifications
- BS Computer Science or other technical degree.10+ years of related overall technology experience
- Experience in Adobe Experience Manager (required)
- Must have handled at least 2-3 large AEM implementations as a technical architect role.
- Expertise in core web technologies including XML, HTML5, CSS, client/server-side-scripting languages such as JavaScript preferably using SPA (Single page application) and web services development using RESTful implementations.
- Proficient in Day CQ / Adobe AEM foundational concepts, including the use of core frameworks such as Apache Sling and Apache Felix, a solid understanding of all of the related building blocks including templates, components, dialogs, widgets, etc., and the Adobe AEM development and deployment process.
- Good understanding of Day CQ /Adobe AEM WCM capabilities including Multi-site manager and Blueprinting, and the use of online marketing components such as advanced targeting / personalization, and multivariate testing, is preferred.
- Proficient knowledge of the end-to-end content lifecycle, web content management, content publishing / deployment, and delivery processes.
- Good understanding of integration patterns and content-centric application development patterns using Day CQ / Adobe AEM with or without a Portal, Search, Commerce package or other platforms, is preferred.
- Strong understanding of SDLC methodologies (Agile, SCRUM)
- Experience in at least one: Adobe - Analytics, Campaign, Commerce, Marketo Engage, Target or equivalent technologies is a plus
- Possesses a calm demeanor that is used to help resolve technology disputes
- Highly self-directed; able to multi-task given incomplete and conflicting knowledge, and prioritize multiple projects/initiatives in a deadline-driven environment
- Strong interpersonal skills, a positive attitude and the ability to thrive in a collaborative agency environment with multidisciplinary teams required.
