Want to help us help others? We’re hiring!

GoFundMe is the world’s most powerful community for good, dedicated to helping people help each other. By uniting individuals and nonprofits in one place, GoFundMe makes it easy and safe for people to ask for help and support causes—for themselves and each other. Together, our community has raised more than $40 billion since 2010.

Join us! The GoFundMe team is searching for our next Principal, Business Operations – Go To Market (GTM) Systems leader to own the vision, strategy, and execution for our sales, marketing, and customer success systems. This role is a technical and strategic hybrid — you’ll be hands-on in building, optimizing, and integrating our GTM systems while also designing the processes, experiences, and data flows that enable our go-to-market teams to operate at peak performance.

As a senior individual contributor (Principal level), you’ll be the technical lead and design authority for GTM systems, blending deep Salesforce expertise with a product-minded approach to delivering intuitive, scalable solutions. You will guide and mentor a small team of junior implementers, work cross-functionally with GTM leadership, RevOps, and Data teams, and serve as the organization’s trusted expert in how systems should work to drive efficiency, data integrity, and user delight.

You will also be a catalyst for transformation — challenging the status quo by embedding AI-powered capabilities into our GTM workflows to achieve step-function improvements in efficiency, accuracy, and user experience. Your work will have considerable impact on the effectiveness and efficiency of the GTM function.

The Job

Systems Strategy, Architecture & AI Enablement

  • Own the end-to-end architecture and design of Salesforce and the broader GTM technology stack (sales engagement, marketing automation, customer success tools, data enrichment).
  • Define and execute a GTM systems roadmap that balances business needs, technical scalability, AI-driven automation, and user experience.
  • Identify opportunities to challenge and reinvent existing processes using AI to reduce manual effort, improve decision-making, and create breakthrough gains in productivity.
  • Develop methods and best practices for solution design, configuration, and integration across systems, incorporating AI-driven recommendations, scoring, and workflow automation.

Hands-On Technical Implementation

  • Configure, customize, and enhance Salesforce to support evolving GTM workflows — from lead capture through renewal and upsell.
  • Build and maintain automation, validation rules, workflows, and AI-enhanced processes that improve efficiency, accuracy, and data quality.
  • Leverage APIs, middleware, and AI models to connect GTM systems and enable predictive insights, intelligent routing, and personalized engagement.

User Experience, Process Design & AI Adoption

  • Act like a product manager for GTM systems: gather requirements, design workflows, and deliver intuitive solutions that delight users.
  • Translate ambiguous business needs into structured, scalable system solutions — integrating AI tools where they drive step-change improvements.
  • Partner with GTM leaders to reimagine processes, reduce friction, and transform the way our teams work.

Leadership & Influence

  • Guide and mentor 2–3 other implementers and contractors, setting technical direction, infusing a user centric approach in everything we do, prioritized across stakeholders to maintain a high impact roadmap backlog and getting hands on to solve the toughest technical challenges.
  • Partner closely with RevOps, Data, Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, & Product teams to ensure alignment between systems, AI integrations, data models, and reporting needs.
  • Serve as the GTM systems and AI thought leader — educating stakeholders on emerging technologies and identifying high-impact AI & systems driven use cases.

You

  • 8–12+ years in GTM systems, business operations, or sales operations roles, with significant hands-on Salesforce experience (former Salesforce Admin or Architect strongly preferred).
  • Proven ability to design, configure, and optimize Salesforce and related GTM systems end-to-end.
  • Strong understanding of GTM processes (sales, marketing, customer success) and how to enhance them with AI and automation.
  • Experience guiding technical teams or junior implementers (formal management experience not required).
  • A product mindset — able to gather requirements, design great user experiences, and deliver solutions that drive adoption.
  • Deep technical knowledge of system integration, AI applications, automation tools, data modeling, and reporting.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence across functions and levels.
  • Proven track record of making high-impact decisions in ambiguous environments.
  • Passion for GoFundMe’s mission and commitment to enabling our GTM teams to succeed.
  • A technical doer who can both architect and build solutions, including AI-enabled capabilities.
  • A systems and design thinker who connects dots across people, processes, and platforms.
  • A product-minded problem solver who designs with the end-user in mind.
  • A change agent who challenges conventional approaches to unlock step-function performance improvements.
  • Proactive and resourceful, able to drive initiatives independently while collaborating effectively.
