Process Development Intern (f/m/d)

As a Process Development Intern, you will play a key role in ensuring that our next large-scale production expansion is both efficient and successful. Acting as the link between Production, CAPEX, and R&D, your main responsibility will be to test and implement optimizations and new developments at lab and pilot scale.
A Taste of What to Expect- Develop and optimize a downscaling model for our new production process
- Document and analyze process data to guide development and improvement
- Organize and prepare pilot trials, including coordination with internal teams
- Participate to on-site pilot trials at external manufacturing facilities
- Design and test prototypes, including development of new machine components
- Collaborate with R&D, CAPEX, ScaleUp, and production teams
- You are currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Food Technology, Biotechnology, or a related field
- You’re confident working with data and enjoy drawing insights from it
- You have hands-on lab experience and are comfortable conducting experiments independently
- You’re curious about the chemical background of aroma compositions
- Experience with 3D construction software (e.g. AutoCAD) is a plus
- Knowledge of thermoprocess or mechanical engineering is beneficial
