The role

Gocardless has recently implemented a Coupa Purchase to Pay (P2P) system to improve our capability to manage the end to end P2P process. Reporting to the Procurement Administrator, as Supplier Onboarding Associate, you will be responsible for ensuring all suppliers are onboarded in compliance with GoCardless policy. In addition to engaging directly with suppliers, you will support Supplier Managers and other Coupa users in ensuring suppliers are onboarded efficiently and within SLAs. 

During onboarding, risk assessments are performed, to ensure suppliers meet the minimum standards required by GoCardless and our regulators. You will support the specialists within the business responsible for performing supplier risk assessment,  monitoring workflow and in ensuring the system and process is optimised to meet their requirements. You will work with the Head of Enterprise Risk to implement and administer the supplier risk management programme and coordinate annual supplier risk reassessments.

The ideal candidate is proactive and confident working independently to support the business and those responsible for supplier risk management. You will be extremely organised with a structured way of working. Experience in a similar administrative support role is essential and knowledge of procurement and of Coupa is preferred.

What excites you:
  • Accountable for supplier onboarding workflow and helping to ensure suppliers are onboarded within SLA.
  • Facilitate the day to day performance of supplier risk assessments, assisting suppliers in completing Supplier Information Forms (SIMs) in Coupa, monitoring and reporting on the status of assessments and compliance with SLAs.
  • Providing P2P process and Coupa system support to suppliers and business users, and training where required. 
  • Receive training to develop knowledge on the end-to-end P2P lifecycle in Coupa and skills to provide cover for the Procurement Admin during their vacations etc, 
  • Contribute to the implementation of process and system change, under the supervision of the Procurement Administrator, System Admin. or Head of Enterprise Risk.
  • Responsible for coordinating the performance of supplier risk reassessments and ensuring the process is performed in compliance with GoCardless policy.
  • Ensuring the ongoing maintenance of P2P Coupa demos, training materials, and internal documentation.
  • Identify opportunities and solutions to develop new procedures and processes to improve the overall effectiveness of supplier onboarding.
  • Manage support ticket requests and ensure responses to queries via the Procurement Slack channels
What excites us: 
  • Experience in business support administrative processes
  • You are motivated to understand processes and become a subject matter expert in procurement
  • Knowledge of Procurement is ideal but not essential
  • Supplier risk management knowledge is an advantage
  • Coupa certification is a plus, but not required
  • High level of integrity and robustness in ensuring compliance with processes and controls
  • Organised, and capable of a high throughput
  • Confidence and assurance in communicating appropriately with multiple internal and external stakeholders
  • Commitment to excellence in delivering customer outcomes
  • Strong analytical skills
  • The ability to work flexibly, adapting quickly to change and responding positively to new ways of working enabling us to thrive on change and constantly improve

The salary range (gross): €1650 - €1950
