Reporting directly to the Head of Procurement, the Procurement Officer is responsible for driving purchasing initiatives, supporting internal departments, and maintaining and developing supplier relationships.

You will…

• Manage procurement of products/materials to ensure consistent supply across business divisions.
• Analyse demand forecasts to maintain optimal stock levels while minimising costs.
• Track orders, monitor delivery performance, and highlight risks or opportunities related to supply and demand changes.
• Engage proactively with suppliers and internal stakeholders on performance, version control, and consumption rates.
• Communicate supplier performance and cost variations to management, suggesting improvements where necessary.
• Conduct weekly stocktaking, category management, and maintain accurate records.

You have…

• Prior experience as a Purchasing Officer or Buyer in a fast-paced environment, preferably with expertise in packaging procurement, as this role involves managing the print and packaging category.
• Advanced Excel skills is a must as demand forecast will be run of spreadsheets
• Strong background in inventory management

• An excellent communicator, both written and verbal.
