As a Procurement Operations Manager, you'll be responsible for ensuring a successful and efficient Supply Chain, leading continuous improvement projects across Operations Teams, both on Supply Chain and Secondary packaging topics. You will also be the owner of the Packaging P&L.

You will lead and manage a team of two Procurement Buyers, providing guidance on operational excellence principles and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Collaboration with cross-functional teams and leaders is fundamental to aligning and integrating Supply Chain continuous improvement efforts.

The role also focuses on cost reduction initiatives, from Supply Planning, to Waste, to Packaging assortment and configuration, ensuring to meet cost targets and quality standards. The Manager will identify and mitigate Supply Chain risks, leveraging technology to enhance efficiency. 

The ideal candidate will have a thorough knowledge of Procurement and Supply Chain processes and strong background in project management and/ or Procurement and Supply Chain consulting environments.

• Define and lead implementation of strategic cost reduction and transformation projects across the Supply Chain, with a focus on Procurement, to increase customer and business value. Prepare and present detailed reports on project status, outcomes, and impact to senior management and other stakeholders
• Engage and communicate with stakeholders at all levels to gain buy-in and support for continuous improvement initiatives
• Lead Supply Chain process, systems and tools reviews and hold accountable for meeting HelloFresh OpEx and Packaging targets. Use benchmarking and best practice exchange where available to maximize existing market and business knowledge
• Measure, analyze and report on supplier performance, packaging cost and purchasing data through targeted KPIs 
• Coordinate solutions of any unforeseen problems with suppliers, ensuring no customer is impacted. Proactively run a root cause analysis
• Set quarterly Team OKRs in view of the Company business strategy and the Supply Chain and Packaging one, which you create
• Manage a team of two buyers

• Degree in Engineering or Business 
• 3+ years of experience within Procurement, Supply Chain management and/or Continuous Improvement in Operations or in a top-tier consulting company complemented by international multi-project management in a fast-paced environment gained in consumer driven industries
• Solid competency in data analysis, lean methods, problem solving techniques, root cause analysis, and structuring of complex improvement projects
• Superior analytical skills and operational modeling capabilities connected to strategic thinking
• Demonstrated ability to enforce metrics that drive efficiency, measure performance and reduce costs, combined with a good sense of hands on mentality
• Six sigma green belt or similar qualifications are a plus 
• Proficiency in both English and Italian
