About TokyoApplied Intuition entered the Japan market in 2019. The company has rapidly grown and established strategic relationships with major Japanese automotive OEM customers. Based in Otemachi area, the Tokyo site consists of more than 20 employees who previously come from Google, Mobileye, Tier IV and other renowned companies.
About the role We are looking for bright engineers interested in extending and adapting our products for Applied Intuition’s global customers. Our Product Application Engineers have a unique mix of software expertise, domain knowledge, and an execution-driven mindset. Using these skills, our engineers work closely with autonomy developers to ensure that Applied Intuition’s products are providing maximum impact to advance our customers' autonomy initiatives. This is an important role for the company, bringing together our product and engineering expertise with our customer-centric culture. At Applied Intuition, you will:- Become experts in using Applied Intuition’s products to meet customer use cases
- Collaborate with our sales teams and solution architects to gather requirements through detailed technical discussions and workshops
- Develop, execute, and contribute to proof of concepts, demonstrations, and product-training for customers
- 2+ years of experience working with simulation or mechanical design software
- Experience with interacting with end-customers as an application engineer or a developer
- An acute attention to detail and an execution-focused mindset
- Proficiency in debugging and working with Python/C++
- Experience with QA and wants to grow their customer facing and engineering skills
- Prior background in application engineering for simulation products
- Experience working with automotive OEMs or suppliers
- Prior work in autonomous vehicle or robotics development domains
- Experience with simulation software tooling
