At Lyft, our purpose is to serve and connect. To do this, we start with our own community by creating an open, inclusive, and diverse organization.

As part of our Community Safety team, you’ll play a vital role in shaping experiences that make transportation safer and more trusted for everyone who uses Lyft. We’re looking for a Product Designer who is passionate about designing with care and intent — someone who can help define, build, and scale features that drive trust, protect our community, and prioritize both the physical and psychological safety of our riders and drivers.

This role sits at the intersection of product innovation, cross-functional collaboration, and real-world impact. You’ll bring a customer-centric and systems-thinking mindset to a complex and evolving space, working across the entire Lyft ecosystem to deliver thoughtful, human-centered design solutions.

From early concepting through launch, you’ll apply your strengths in interaction, visual, service, and product design to deliver safety experiences that resonate deeply with riders and drivers. Your work will ensure our offerings are not only effective but also intuitive, empowering, and aligned with Lyft’s values.

You’ll collaborate closely with partners in product, engineering, legal, data science, research, and operations to support critical safety initiatives — designing interactions that are as seamless as they are meaningful, and ensuring Lyft continues to foster a safe, trusted environment for its community.
