✅The Role

Working closely with the Head of Product, Trademarks you will help to drive product strategy and roadmap delivery for the trademark solutions product line through a deep understanding of customer/user needs, the product, competitors, and the overall market.

✅Responsibilities and Duties

  • Responsible Product Manager for the TMNow platform
  • Through insights from market, user and customer research, determine user and customer needs and discover critical insights to create a strategic path for the product and decide what features to build.
  • Conduct and document competitor research and customer intelligence to learn more about customers’ needs (e.g. user./focus groups), including managing user acceptance testing to ensure user and market needs are met
  • Discover new opportunities for product expansion or development ideas
  • Design and conduct rapid concept testing to validate customer need
  • Define the key features, specifications, and requirements, including cost/benefit analysis of the product/feature and work with the Product Owner to ensure that these are properly documented and reflected in acceptance criteria/UATs.
  • Determine the scope for MVPs and plan iterations with the Product Owner to improve features and function in line with customer/user feedback.
  • Work with the Product Owner to deliver high-quality features that function properly and delight customers.
  • Create project timeline and implementation schedules for cohesive product roadmap, including tracking success metrics for post feature/product launch
  • Clear and effective communication between engineering and business teams such as sales and operations, including relating clear product development timelines and key milestones.
  • Work with the product strategy and product marketing teams to establish strategies for product pricing and positioning and assist with product launches and marketing campaigns.
  • Provide updates on roadmap and initiatives in meetings as defined
  • Drive user migration from legacy platforms to TMNow

✅Essential

  • In-house, law firm or service company experience working in an intellectual property related role. Strong background in trademarks and/or intellectual property.
  • In-depth knowledge about the industry and product's users
  • Strong ability to gather diverse data from a range of sources then assimilate and analyse it to formulate a coherent strategic plan, including product business cases and effective ROI.
  • Experience of working with a go to market team to determine pricing, positioning and plan product launches
  • Experience of managing business stakeholders
  • Knowledge of the product development life cycle
  • Excellent communication skills with an ability to drive credibility and influence both internally and externally
  • Strong ability to prioritise, meet deadlines, and manage changing priorities.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Confident using Microsoft Office products including Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
  • Fluent in Artificial Intelligence technologies and their application, and passionate about delivering AI-powered products
  • Experience with platform consolidation and user migration
  • Experience with the Jobs to be done (JTBD) methodology and JIRA desired.
  • Demonstrable experience in prior product related role desired
